Travel to Puglia: the land of olive trees

As you begin your travel to Puglia, both in summer and in any other season, what you’ll notice at a first glance is a vast land covered by centuries-old twisted trees. Wood sculptures, beautiful for their various and never alike shapes.

Welcome to the land of the olive tree, symbol of culture and history of this region, fundamental mean of growth of civilization. Manor farms and villages on one side, a blue crystalline sea on the other, are the perfect frame of these perfectly geometrical expanses of trees.
They represent the main culture of this region, since millenniums, going through the Romans and all the invasions that this land has borne through the centuries.
Their fruits, the olives and, consequently, the olive oil made Puglia famous all over the world, as an excellent producer of these high quality mediterranean products.
